Fusing a raw Zeppelin-esque swagger with Amy Winehouse-style soul, Brit Kane has been a fixture of the Vermont music scene since arriving half a decade ago from Portland, Oregon.

When she isn’t busy fronting her own band (rock quartet Brit Kane & Co) she’s a perpetual guest of others—appearing weekly to lend her sultry, expressive vocals to some of Vermont’s most prominent jazz and soul bands.

Rivaling Brit’s hair with his luscious long locks is Matthew Jadin on guitar. Another veteran of the Vermont music scene, he currently performs with a growing list of bands like Dusk Quartet, Dogface, Danny & The Parts, and the Andriana Chobot Band.
