About Dan:
Dan Greenleaf is a guitarist, bandleader, and educator living in Vermont. His debut record, Live at Ford Hall, comes out this spring. Greenleaf, winner of a 2023 Lincoln Center Outstanding Guitar Solo Honorable Mention award, calls his debut “raw and unrefined, because that’s what I can do.” The allusion is to a musical approach stemming from the necessity created by disability. Born with cerebral palsy, Greenleaf has crafted a personal style where limitation becomes a “jumping off point” for creative expression. Greenleaf’s compositional style reflects his life experience, with a simplicity that sets the stage for the development of complexity. “Opening Theme” is comprised of a single repeated melody colored and stretched by the imaginative rhythm section. Other compositions have even simpler structure, with sparse use of melody notes. “Bite Bullet" has 11 notes (mostly whole); “Closing Theme” has one.

Midnight North

MIDNIGHT NORTH. SHAKEDOWN LOUNGE AT STOWE CIDER. MARCH 30TH 2025 @ 8PM.

Tickets: https://www.seetickets.us/event/Midnight-North/631441

About Midnight North:

Midnight North takes its cue from the fertile Bay Area music scene. Formed in early 2012 bysinger/songwriters Grahame Lesh and Elliott Peck, whose harmonies came as naturally as theinitial songs, along with bassist Connor O’Sullivan. The band’s current-day lineup wascompleted when drummer/banjo player Nathan Graham came aboard after a chance meeting at abenefit concert in Philadelphia in 2016 following the release of its third, and breakthrough, album, Under the Lights, in 2017.

In the early days, the group was able to grow as a unit thanksto an association with Lesh’s family venue, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California.Diamonds in the Zodiac - on the Americana Vibes label - is Midnight North’s fifth studio album(along with three live discs), representing a continuation of the musical direction on 2021’sThere’s Always a Story. The title comes from the unearthed Robert Hunter lyrics for “Jupiter,”one of two extended tracks on an album -- the other, Grahame’s opening “Questions.” Other thanthose two, Diamonds is increasingly song-oriented and steeped in bluegrass, country, soul, blues, funk, jazz and gospel – a true Americana melting pot.

It also turned into a real, second-generation family affair, as it was produced by the band’s dearfriend Amy Helm, daughter of The Band’s Levon Helm and singer/songwriter Libby Titus, andfeatures Grahame’s dad Phil and brother Brian. “Things have come full circle in that it wasmeeting Amy and Levon Helm at a Ramble in the Barn that gave my parents the inspiration toopen Terrapin Crossroads, and having Terrapin was so instrumental in the band’s development. And now Amy produced this album and shepherded these songs to their ultimate form,” saidGrahame. Diamonds was mixed by D. James Goodwin, who has worked with such luminaries as Bob Weir, the Hold Steady, The National, Goose, and Bonny Light Horseman among many others. MicahNelson, aka Particle Kid, and Willie’s son, did the honors on the album cover artwork, usingacrylic paint mixed with floral poured on wood.
Recorded at Dave Schools’ (Widespread Panic) Spacecamp in Occidental, California, Diamond in the Zodiac’s 10 tracks represent a truly collaborative effort, featuring band members playing different instruments and many friends & collaborators stopping by the studio to contribute to the music and the vibe. Phil & Brian Lesh, Jason Crosby, and TJ Kanczuzewski all contributed significant moments, and all of the focus was on pulling the best version of the song out of the ensemble.

About Troy Millette & The Fire Below:
What’s in a song? A dash of creativity, a few fresh rhymes, and a full serving of heart are the recipe for success according to singer/songwriter Troy Millette, who alongside his band the Fire Below has gained recognition as one of the region’s most engaging live acts.

Since emerging on the local circuit in 2009, Millette’s emotive and relatable lyrics have made him a staple of dives, clubs, and festivals across the northeast United States and Quebec. In March 2022 he was invited to showcase his talents at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. That same year, the Fire Below received the title of Vermont’s “Best Folk Group” at the Seven Daysies Awards. The group followed up with a second consecutive win the following year.

2023’s “The Errors Tour” and 2024’s “Less Than 1% of the World Tour” have taken Millette to more than 20 states.

In addition to hundreds of headlining shows, appearances at festivals such as Grace Potter's Grand Point North, Twiddle’s Tumble Down, Spruce Peak’s Homegrown in Vermont, and even a promotional run with Senator Bernie Sanders, Millette and company have shared bills with the likes of Counting Crows, Grace Potter, Guster, Bowling for Soup, Matt Quinn (of Mt. Joy), Chadwick Stokes (of Dispatch), LIVE, Richard Marx, Rick Springfield, Wheatus, Brett Dennen, the Marcus King Band, DEER TICK, the Front Bottoms, American Authors, Josiah and the Bonnevilles, the Ballroom Thieves, Josiah Johnson (of the Head and the Heart), Willie Watson (of Old Crow Medicine Show), Matt Sucich, Fantastic Cat, Lee DeWyze, and many more!

About Uncle Kunkel's One Gram Band:
Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band is a Baltimore-based group delivering a fusion of funk and rock with an original catalog of high energy music. Known for their infectious grooves, offbeat lyrics, and standout covers, their shows are more than performances. Each set invites the audience to rejoice in moments of raw energy, improvisation, and spontaneous interaction to create something truly unique each night. An expansion to 5 members after moving to Baltimore has propelled them onto stages at premier Maryland venues such as The 8x10, The Atlantis, and Union Stage, and Pearl Street Warehouse. Along the way, they’ve built a strong and devoted local following known as “The Nieces & Nephews,” a vibrant community that mirrors the band’s energetic spirit and massively diverse circle of connections and friendships. Recently, Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band celebrated the release of their debut EP, Punk Jams, a bold statement capturing the raw essence of their live performances.

Weird Phishes w/ Jonny G (of lespecial)

WEIRD PHISHES. WITH OPENER JONNY G FROM LESPECIAL. SHAKEDOWN LOUNGE AT STOWE CIDER. MARCH 1ST 2025. 8PM.

Tickets: https://www.seetickets.us/event/Weird-Phishes-w-Jonny-G-of-lespecial/634030

About Weird Phishes:

Weird Phishes is exactly what it sounds like - the iconic melancholy rock songs of Radiohead completely reborn as danceable, crunchy jams. With full-album performances, unexpected mashups, and gluey funk-driven improvisation, their jam-heavy take on alt-rock classics has sparked an unexpected energy in audiences across the northeast. Cleverly avoiding the "tribute" trope, Weird Phishes continues to push the envelope of what a mashup band can be, delivering performances that need to be experienced in order to believe.

A quick glance at the band’s social media gives a glimpse into why this unlikely mashup proves worthwhile. “Bought tickets on a whim because I love both bands, had wanted to check out the club, and thought it would be amusing. I was not expecting such incredible musicianship and thought that had gone into their set...it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in years.” Said one user. “Clean, creative mashups of a favorite album and great Phish selections. Great energy.” says another. “Impossibly excellent show.”

In July 2019, Weird Phishes solidified their place in the New England jam community, playing back-to-back afterparties for Phish’s performances at Fenway Park. With a growing fanbase and an ever-changing setlist, the band continued their inaugural year with several headlining performances in Boston and a fall tour to the midwest, topped off with Phish afterparties in Providence and New York, and the very last performance at Phish-mecca Nectar’s before the pandemic hit. The band made its post-covid return with a headlining slot at the inaugural Safe and Soundz festival and a performance at the legendary Paradise Rock Club.

In 2023, the band trod new ground with full album performances spanning multiple cities, debuting their fully reimagined rendition of "Kid A" at Boston's Crystal Ballroom, a performance of "Ok Computer'' at Albany's Lark Hall, and a 2 hour long performance of “In Rainbows” in Cambridge, MA at The Middle East Downstairs.
